Aster applies ISO 9001:2008 / TL 9000 / ISO 14001:2004 International Standards as the baseline for implementing management systems.

All of Aster’s manufacturing facilities and Services business units are ISO 9001:2008 registered by a reputed third party registrar.

Aster Management is committed to the integration of quality principles into our management systems. We have established a clear Quality and embedded it in our Business Units.

Asters Quality Management System (QMS)

Aster has implemented a flexible QMS architecture based on Aster’s Mission, Corporate values, and Quality. This architecture encompasses a wide range of mature and robust systems and processes, and enables Aster to provide responsive support to customers.

Design and Development Quality

Our customized towers meet national and international standards. All tower designs are validated by Indian Institute of Technology and Structural Engineering Research Centre. Many customer approved agencies verify our product designs and prototypes and assess our QMS and plants capacities.

Quality of the Materials and Bought Out Items

Our Central Purchase Wing, Quality and Business Units and the Vertical Purchase Teams, work closely with our suppliers with a keen eye on Standard, predictable quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness of raw material and items. These factors are highly critical in delivering products and services to customer satisfaction.

Manufacturing Quality Systems

Based on the Project or Customer requirements product, project specific quality plans and control plans are developed and religiously followed.

Quality Systems for Subcontractor and Outsourcing

Aster's Business Units use subcontractors to perform some of the project manufacturing steps like Tower Fabrication, Civil Work, Erection and Painting of the Towers and Installation services. Only the potential subcontractors who meet Aster’s technical, business and quality requirements are approved to provide services and are under direct supervision of Aster’s teams for their performance. They are closely monitored by project and quality teams through site audits. For assuring communication and alignment on trends and requirements, their businesses are subjected to periodical reviews and rated.

Quality Teams and Customer Support

Aster's quality teams support and ensure that the purchased products undergo verification, in-process inspection, validation and final inspection activities based on quality and control plans. Quality and Quantity confirmation, declaration, product change management, final product quality, customer, prototype inspections, suppliers’ assessment and document control including initiation of CAPA are some of our value-added support services to our customers. In addition to it Aster also undertakes periodical interaction and customer satisfaction survey program.

Management Information System (MIS)

Aster has developed business unit specific MIS for effective tracking of daily operations and site status. We are also in the process of implementing ERP for robust documentation and control across Aster.

Product and Services Warranty

Aster gives warranties on the material, items and labor on all passive infrastructure products and services purchased directly from us and installed by us. As per the contract if any passive infrastructure provided by Aster is found to be defective or suffers from workmanship, Aster business units honor the warranty to repair or replace the defective product.
